Erin Brock is Appointed Canola Council Agronomy Specialist for the Peace

Erin Brock has been appointed Canola Council agronomy specialist for the Peace region of the northern prairies. Based in Sexsmith, AB, Erin will co-ordinate canola extension activities in her area as part of the Canola Council agronomy team.

Prior to joining the Council, Erin was the forage and crop production technician for Parkland County, Alberta. She has worked as a weed inspector and field research assistant during her university undergraduate years at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. She graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Conservation Science.

Erin also holds a diploma in natural resources technology from Lakeland College in Vermilion, Alberta. She was raised on her family’s farm near Red Deer, Alberta.
